Dressing the Delta of NELA will be hosting a giveaway of over 200 new to gently used, dazzlingly beautiful, sleek, and SPARKLY prom-homecoming-wedding dresses (from long to short, mermaid to ball gown) at the Willie Davis Recreation Center at 116 Cox Ferry Road, Farmerville, LA on February 20th, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Early dress appointments are available for free between 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., with no appointments needed after 3:00 p.m. For appointments and to donate, please send a message to Dressing the Delta’s Facebook page and we will contact you. From 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., fittings will be limited to 6 girls at one time, due to limited changing room space. There will be a sign-in sheet for girls and we will pull names in order from that sheet. Each girl will be allowed to pick ONE dress for FREE from what is available at the event. DTD has partnered with sister agencies Secret Santa of NELA, Donna Groan of West Monroe, and Job Prep Inc, 501C3 disaster relief, Kami Turner of Farmerville. We are seeking donations for this and future events. If you have any dresses, accessories or shoes that you would like to donate, especially plus size dresses, please donate.
